Christmas Lights Switch-On
Saturday 28th November saw the switch on of the Christmas Lights in Newport Pagnell.
It was not the best of weather with a lot of rain but there were a huge number of visitor to see the annual event – “The Lights Switch-on”.
I was on the Lib. Dems stall and I was joined by
Councillors Derek Eastman, DouglasMcCall and Leo Montague throughout the day,
Cllrs Derek Eastman, Douglas McCall and Paul Alexander
We had 2 competitions on the day. 1. Guess the name of the bear to win a Giant Teddy Bear and 2. Wine Tombola where by pulling table tennis balls from a box would determine if the participants have won a bottle of wine. Both events were very successful and well supported
